Add IDs, documents, and labels in seconds with the passport, license, document, and barcode scanners.
What you can scan
VeraLocker reads several kinds of sources straight from the camera: passport machine-readable zones, driver's license barcodes, insurance and other cards with printed text, product model-number labels, plain documents, and everyday QR codes and barcodes. Scanned values arrive as drafts in the right fields—review and correct before saving.
Scan a passport or driver's license
These scans pick up identity details and dates without typing.
- 1 Start adding an ID, then tap the scan action.
- 2 Hold the passport open to the photo page, or frame the barcode on the back of the license.
- 3 Check the extracted fields, especially names and dates.
- 4 Save, then add a reminder so the expiration is covered.
Scan documents and labels
Use the document scanner for manuals, deeds, and statements—it captures multi-page scans and stores them as encrypted attachments on the item. The model-number scan reads a label directly into an asset or maintenance item, so warranty lookups have the exact number.
Camera permission
Scanning needs camera access, granted only after you choose it in your device settings or a first-use prompt. Scan images become encrypted attachments or field drafts—unless you cancel, nothing is retained or shared.
